Description

Sodium cocoyl glutamate is commonly used as a detergent, surfactant, skin and hair conditioner, and lathering agent. It is an amino acid alkyl amide.

Benefits

Considerations

• Contamination Concerns May contain undisclosed propylene glycol. May contain traces of heavy metals from processing. Because it is from amines, it may also contain traces of nitrosamines or form them in the presence of nitrosating agents. Nitrosamines are a class of carcinogenic chemicals. • MSG Sodium cocoyl glutamate is created using monosodium glutamate. It may be advisable to avoid sodium cocoyl glutamate if you are sensitive to MSG. • Eye Irritant Can be an eye irritant at higher concentrations.
